VIFF Pop-Up Brand Activation

The Challenge

To cap off the 2018 Vancouver International Film Festival, organizers wanted to wow their audience with a lasting final impression that wouldn’t be forgotten. They commissioned Robazzo to create an entry sequence designed to bring them closer to the VIFF brand through digital design.

Our Approach

The installation brought together several of the brand themes and elements. At the core, it’s a series of larger-than-life sized shapes reflecting the VIFF logo and brand identity. These huge shapes were perforated, in keeping with this year’s pop-art theme, with a custom-scripted digital graphic.

The Result

The result was a colourful and welcoming VIFF-themed threshold installation at the gateway to the Gala, beckoning VIFF-goers to take part in the action.
