MyLivingCity Branding Package

The Client

MyLivingCity is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the conversation about sustainable cities. Their platform will offer citizens the opportunity to connect with each other, share ideas about how their city could be improved, vote on their favourites, and collaborate amongst themselves to make these ideas happen.

The Challenge

The organization had an outdated logo that wasn’t serving its tech-focussed goals. They came to us seeking a brand refresh in the form of a branding package including logo, brand guidelines, and conceptual web design.

Our Approach

In our design process, we focussed on communicating the idea of sustainable citizen dialogue as simply as possible. This resulted in a very simple icon containing two ‘leaf speech bubbles’ alluding to the essence of the platform. We paired this with a clean font and cohesive colour palette to fill out the brand identity.

The Result

The result is a clean & elegant brand that instantly communicates the mandate of the non-profit organization it represents. The branding elements look great on a variety of merchandise which could be used to help spread the word about MyLivingCity’s work in the community.
